Kelly Gualtieri is a knitwear designer whose work incorporates extensive machine knitting knowledge with contemporary techniques and finishes. These elements combine to achieve complex designs with an great attention to detail.

Gualtieri incorporates hand sketched flats with Illustrator and Photoshop rendering.

She started her knitwear career at American and Italian companies such as Gap, Loft and Armani Exchange and consults for a variety of contemporary and designer collections. She specializes in sustainable knitwear with a focus on renewable yarns and fibers.

Gualtieri received a fashion design degree from Parsons School of Design and is currently the creative chair of Style412. She is also a lecturer at Carnegie Mellon University and a fashion design instructor at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh.

Currently, she is open to freelance design opportunities.
